PVC SCH 40 Check Valve 2" x 2.5"

Protect your valuable pumps, heaters, and filters from potentially damaging backflow issues with the Praher Plastics CV2-2010 Spring Check Valve. This essential plumbing component allows water to flow in one direction only, automatically closing when the flow stops or reverses. Constructed from durable, high-grade CPVC, this valve offers superior resistance to chlorine, acids, ozone, and UV exposure compared to standard PVC alternatives.

Designed with versatility in mind, the valve features 2-inch inner diameter (socket) by 2.5-inch outer diameter (spigot) connections, making it compatible with various Schedule 40 or 80 PVC/CPVC piping configurations. The robust internal spring mechanism ensures a reliable, low-pressure seal while maintaining a high flow rate (up to 75 GPM). It is ideal for use in swimming pool plumbing (especially for booster pumps or elevated returns), irrigation systems, and light industrial applications.

Key Features

• Backflow Prevention: Automatically stops the reversal of water flow to protect pumps and sensitive equipment.
• Durable CPVC Construction: Made from chlorine, acid, and ozone-resistant CPVC material for superior longevity in harsh environments.
• Versatile Connections: Features 2-inch inner diameter (socket) and 2.5-inch outer diameter (spigot) connections for flexible plumbing integration.
• High-Heat Tolerance: Engineered with CPVC body components that resist warping, making it ideal for outdoor and high-temperature environments.
• Reliable Performance: Uses a robust stainless steel spring mechanism and a high-grade O-ring seal to ensure effective, long-term non-return functionality.
• High Flow, Low PSI Loss: Designed for optimal hydraulic efficiency with minimal pressure drop (rated up to 75 GPM).
